Bryan has specialised in the private healthcare sector since 1991 as a regional manager for a healthcare specialist lender, a senior healthcare management consultant and finally as an Associate Director (Healthcare) at the national advisory firm, Grant Thornton.
Bryan has dealt with many restructuring/turnaround/advisory assignments including the high profile Southern Cross, Castlebeck (Winterbourne owner) and Elder Homes. Clients have ranged from sole traders to PLCs.
The majority of Bryan's sector experience covers financial, commercial and management solutions. Bryan has delivered many presentations on healthcare and contributed articles to the trade press.
Bryan is also Chair of Glebe House, a learning disability charity based in Loughborough.
Paula is a dual qualified nurse who has worked for public and private sector providers for nearly 30 years.
She regularly works with operators to resolve safeguardings, remove embargoes and improve CQC ratings.
She also commissions and re-designs services to improve occupancy and profitability.
Between 2015-17, Paula was the clinical healthcare expert with the national advisory firm Grant Thornton, delivering challenging projects to lenders and operators including leading the administration trading at Elder Homes and lifting two admissions embargoes.
In 2018 she was the interim Operations Director at Cornwall Care and an executive sponsor for projects under the organisational Transformation Programme and a key Board member.
Carol is a qualified nurse for people with Learning Disabilities and associated needs including Mental Health.
Carol has significant experience in compliance, auditing, operations and coaching for health and social care environments.
Carol has spent many years managing and directing complex services including community hospitals, care homes, supported living services and day centres.
She has experience inspecting learning disability, acquired brain injury, complex spinal injury and elderly care services.
Jane is qualified with the Chartered Management Institute and has a long career supporting at Board/C Level. Jane provides HeadWindsCare with business development, administration and back-office support.
